When I was five, I used to write fantasy stories and sell them to my aunties for a few dollars each. Does that mean I’ve been a professional fantasy author sine 1995?

Either way, I’m currently a proud writer of Epic Fantasy, LitRPG and YA Fantasy. I’ve studied fantasy writing at university, honed my craft over many moons, and also spent a lifetime getting good at kicking things so I can write awesome fight scenes!

I queried my first project The Mask of a King in 2020. The book was a hit with beta readers, who loved the worldbuilding, magic system and dynamic plot. It also received some great specific feedback points from numerous agents to take my writing to the next level. While that book didn’t get picked up, I’ve spent the years since working on these points, and am excited to show you what I’ve got in store!

My current project, Gourmancer, is on query right now! It’s got a unique food-based magic system, a jungle world ravaged by vines, and a dragon the size of a city. Click below if you want to learn more!

Other fun facts: I am happily married to the most wonderful girl in the world (we had dragon cakes at our wedding!), have the sweetest kitty that ever existed (see below to meet Devi!) and am lucky enough to live in London (though I confess to missing Australian beaches!).
